Nigerians have taken to social media to react after reports emanated on Wednesday evening that Instagram celebrity Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi has been released from a U.S prison.
Hushpuppi was arrested by Interpol in Dubai last month over allegations that he and his cybercrime squad defrauded over 1, 926,400 victims of $435.6 million.
He was then extradited to the US.
A quick search for Hushpuppi's name and serial number on the Bureau of Prisons website showed that he was 'released' on Monday.
